Growing up in Bafoussam Cameroon in the late 80s Tchitcha discovered the wonderful world of melodies from his frequent visits to his mother’s bar where all  brands of music were showcased each day, from salsa to reggae through bend-skin, bikutsi, blues, mangambeu, Nigerian highlife and the list goes on. In the early days of his life he was a very impressive dancer and performer of most Michael Jackson’s 90 hits like bad, Black and white, Billy Jean… In the late 90s, inspired by musicians and bands like Lionel Richie, Craig David, R Kelly, Boyz 2 Men, Westlife and local artists like Manu Dibango, Sam Fan Thomas, Ndedi Dibango, Stephan Dayas and Nkodo Sidonie he started paving his way in music composition. With the help of an old-time friend, Vincent Tinyama he was able to lay hands on a Yamaha keyboard and that is what triggered what we are all proud of today.

Last year 2018 saw the concretization of a childhood dream which was the establishment of a music label “Hybrid Musik”.  As the name goes this is a label which promotes the merging of musical genres from diverse backgrounds into a new and improved specie. With the collaboration of talented and spirited artists and engineers like John Ray-z, Rumours, T-mino and a few others he intends to revolutionarise Cameroonian and African music, stating with the single “viens en Moen”.  This single is the the first of a multiple-track album which, for sure, will be full of hits so be sure to keep an eye on social media for updates.
